UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY FUND

UNICEF is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. UNICEF's activities include providing immunizations and preventing diseases, administering treatment for children and mothers with HIV, enhancing childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation, promoting education, and delivering emergency relief in response to disasters. As the United Nations agency for children, UNICEF works to protect the rights of every child, particularly the most disadvantaged and those hardest to reach. Operating in more than 190 countries and territories, UNICEF is committed to doing whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive, and reach their full potential.
